When you use DNSSnuff, we collect: domain names you submit for checking, your IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), account information if you sign up (email address, billing information for Pro/Agency plans), and usage data (pages visited, reports run, timestamps).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide the DNS diagnostic service, send email alerts and notifications (Pro/Agency plans), process payments and manage subscriptions, prevent abuse and rate-limit excessive requests, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (payment processors, hosting providers). We do not use your data to train AI models.

3. Data Retention

Free reports are retained for 24 hours. Pro reports are retained for 90 days. Agency reports are retained for 12 months. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand usage patterns. You can opt out of analytics cookies via our Cookie Policy page.
